Chief Compliance Officer

As Chief Compliance Officer of Advisor Resource Council (ARC), Angie Alexander oversees the firm’s foundational commitment to maintaining an environment of integrity, transparency, and high ethical standards. She is responsible for mitigating risk by ensuring the firm adheres to all regulatory requirements and fostering a culture of compliance in all aspects of the firm’s operations.

 

Angie has over 25 years of financial services experience, including 13 years at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas and over a decade as a lobbyist for investor protection reforms, working closely with the SEC’s Office of Investor Education and Advocacy, Division of Trading and Markets and Congress to enact legislation and policy reforms to protect securities investors from fraud.

 

In overseeing ARC’s adherence to extensive compliance policies and procedures, Angie also draws on her extensive experience as a compliance director for a large national Registered Investment Advisor

 

Angie is committed to ensuring ARC’s compliance program provides all team members with comprehensive education and support so they can confidently carry out their continued commitment to prioritizing and protecting clients in a manner that demonstrates integrity and strict adherence to evolving regulatory requirements.

 

Angie’s philosophy is compliance should not be a roadblock to growth or success, and that “compliance is a team sport” that everyone “wins” when everyone “plays.” 

 

Angie earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Texas Christian University. She was a TCU cheerleader and says she’s been a college football fanatic cheering on the Horned Frogs ever since. She is an active volunteer for the Alzheimer’s Association, raising over $3 million since 2021. She serves as team captain for a top fundraising team for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s and is an active volunteer for their Advocacy and Awareness Movement (AIM), which works to garner bipartisan support for Alzheimer's and dementia research.

 

Fun facts about Angie: she speaks Japanese and is a Certified Yoga Instructor.
